The new STI Mudtrax is an excellent choice for upgrading from an OEM type tire.  This tire has a medium aggressive tread pattern that work in the mud, yet will not tear the trails up elsewhere.  It features a  V shaped lug pattern, giving you a smooth ride on hard pack.
